In Russia, Samsung has produced a children's version of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A Kids tablet was created in conjunction with Smeshariki, a Russian children's brand. It will come packed with more than 20 educational and entertaining apps from partners such as Lego. The tablet will also have a unique interface with Marusia, a digital assistant designed to engage children with stories, music, and games. A brightly coloured protective cover/stand will be included with the Samsung Galaxy Tab A Kids. 

Price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy A Kids

The Samsung Galaxy A Kids is priced at RUB 14,990 at launch (roughly Rs. 15,500). It is currently only available for purchase in Russia, through the official Samsung online shop and local retail outlets. The tablet's release in India and other markets has yet to be confirmed.

Specifications and features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A for Kids

As previously stated, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A Kids has an interface that is tailored to children. It also comes with parental controls for limiting access and setting the sort of material that children may access. The tablet comes with a shock-resistant cover to keep it safe in the event of an accident. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A Kids comes with a 5,100mAh battery that is said to last an entire day of vigorous use. The tablet is equipped with an 8.7-inch TFT touchscreen with slim bezels. The display has a 1,340x800 pixel resolution. It's said to include a 2.3GHz octa-core CPU, which is likely the MediaTek Helio P22T SoC seen in the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.

The tablet has an 8-megapixel main camera with autofocus in terms of optics. The main camera can capture full-HD footage at 30 frames per second. A 2-megapixel front camera is also included with the tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A Kids is a Wi-Fi-only tablet with Bluetooth v5.0 capabilities. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card).
